The final field is set for the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship, taking place this week at The Country Club of Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. The complete field is available at SFC Committed Players.
The last four players added through Monday’s qualifier are Brett Drewitt, Jason Dufner, Cameron Huss, and Doc Redman.
This brings the field to 132 players, including Major champions Zach Johnson (2007 Masters, 2015 The Open Championship) and Jason Dufner (2013 PGA Championship), as well as 2012 FedExCup Champion and 2024 Payne Stewart Award recipient Brandt Snedeker. They join 2024 defending champion Kevin Yu at the 58th Sanderson Farms Championship.
Returning past champions include Peter Malnati (2015), Ryan Armour (2017), Cameron Champ (2018), Mackenzie Hughes (2022), Luke List (2023), and Kevin Yu (2024).
Players with Mississippi ties:
- Chad Ramey: Fulton native and Mississippi State graduate. Winner of the 2022 Corales Puntacana Championship.
- Davis Riley: Hattiesburg native who turned professional in 2019 and finished runner-up at the 2025 PGA Championship.
- Hayden Buckley: Graduate of Tupelo High School, former University of Missouri standout, and Korn Ferry Tour alumnus.
- Jackson Suber: Ole Miss graduate, PGA TOUR member, and former Korn Ferry Tour player.
- Braden Thornberry: Germantown, Tennessee native and 2017 NCAA Champion at Ole Miss. Earned his PGA TOUR card for 2025 after winning the Korn Ferry Tour Championship.
- Kye Meeks: Walnut, Mississippi, former Ole Miss golfer and SEC All-Freshman honoree (2021–22). Multiple-time Mississippi Amateur champion. Turned professional in 2024.
- Michael La Sasso: Raleigh, North Carolina native and Ole Miss golfer. Winner of the 2025 NCAA Division I Individual National Championship.
“We are excited about the variety and quality of players in this year’s field,” said Steve Jent, Executive Director of the Sanderson Farms Championship. “Twenty-eight of them have won PGA TOUR events in the last two years, including Akshay Bhatia, who made his professional debut here in 2019 and now has two TOUR victories; Matt Kuchar, a nine-time winner highlighted by The Players Championship in 2012; and Max Homa, a six-time TOUR winner.”

The Lyle Machinery Pro-Am will be held on Wednesday and is open to the public at no charge with a mobile ticket. Convenient parking and shuttle service will be provided from Northpark in Ridgeland, with accessible parking available behind Christ United on Old Canton Road in Jackson.
