The Sanderson Farms Championship is excited to announce that Jackson-based Capital City Beverages, distributor of Corona Premier, has joined the 2018 PGA TOUR event as the official sponsor of the Corona Premier Patio on the 18th Fairway. The Sanderson Farms Championship will be held at The Country Club of Jackson, October 22-28, 2018.
The Patio on the 18th Fairway is the tournament’s main concessions area and it includes a 9’ x 16’ large screen television for football and golf viewing. Corona Premier will be the Official Beer of the Sanderson Farms Championship.
“We are excited to have Capital City Beverages and Corona Premier sponsor the Corona Premier Patio on the 18th Fairway,” said Steve Jent, the tournament’s executive director. “Also, we’ll be serving Corona Premier, Miller Lite, Coors Light, and other Capital City Beverages beers in all concessions and at parties/events during the week. We greatly appreciate the Drennan and Bertucci families coming alongside us as we continue to grow our charitable giving.”
Since 1994, Century Club Charities has served as the host organization for the event, raising approximately $1.46 million in 2017 for Mississippi charities. Now in its 51st year, Mississippi’s largest professional sporting event has raised over $13.5 million for charity, primarily Friends of Children’s Hospital, a nonprofit organization created to support Children’s of Mississippi.
“Capital City Beverages is thrilled to join forces with the Sanderson Farms Championship as the sponsor of the Corona Premier Patio and as the official beer provider,” said Brian Drennan, Vice President and General Manager of Capital City Beverages. “We are proud to support the event and its primary charitable recipient, Friends of Children’s Hospital, part of Children’s of Mississippi, as well as other charities throughout our state.”
