Wayne-Sanderson Farms announced today that it will continue as the title sponsor of the Sanderson Farms Championship through the 2025 tournament. This decision follows a previous announcement indicating that this week’s PGA TOUR event would mark the company’s 12th and final year of title sponsorship.
In early August, Wayne-Sanderson Farms communicated that they would remain a major sponsor for the tournament but would be stepping down as title sponsor. However, the company has reaffirmed its commitment to the Championship, ensuring continuity and stability for the following year.
Sanderson Farms Championship executive director Steve Jent expressed relief and gratitude for the renewed support. “This extension by Wayne-Sanderson Farms is a testament to their enduring support for our tournament and the community we serve. It gives us more room to strategize and secure an exciting future for the Sanderson Farms Championship,” said Jent.
“We are honored to continue our partnership with Century Club Charities to support all of the local causes that benefit from this event,” said Wayne-Sanderson Farms CEO Clint Rivers. “Wayne-Sanderson Farms and the Sanderson Farms Championship are committed to fostering charitable contributions and driving positive community and economic impact. The life-changing work taking place at Children’s of Mississippi is something our company is proud to support, and we look forward to another successful Sanderson Farms Championship in 2025. Best of luck to all the players in this year’s event, and we hope to see them all back here next year!”
The Sanderson Farms Championship, known for its significant contributions to local charities, including Mississippi’s only children’s hospital, will continue to thrive under the steadfast partnership with Wayne-Sanderson Farms.
